This story began long before we were approached with the idea of doing something interesting in the city...
There has always been a rivalry between Krasnodar and Rostov-on-Don: which one is the southern capital, where is it better to live, where are there more musical bands, where are there more extreme sports athletes. Any mention of one city or the other in conversation would turn into a debate. When the argument heated up among action sports fans, Krasnodar always had a strong advantage—the number and quality of action sports venues. Rostov always lagged behind in this regard; it lacked truly significant, modern, high-level skate parks.
However, the XSA team had long been planning to build something grandiose for our neighbors, something that would give the entire city, its sports, and healthy lifestyle the necessary boost.
Konstantin Taranov, the founder of XSA and one of the creators of this sports hub, spent his childhood in Rostov-on-Don, absorbing its spirit of freedom, the geometry of its streets, its southern hospitality, and the color palette of Levberdon. All these childhood impressions were reflected in the realization of the sports hub that now adorns the left bank of the Don.
The sports hub is a synergy of a skate park, a pump track, and a children's area, embodied in the format of a unified park with the ability to freely move between zones. It’s a place where you can come with the whole family, and everyone will find something interesting for themselves. If you’ve already mastered a type of street extreme sport, you can hone your skills or learn something new. If you brought children, you can leave them to their own activities while you chat with friends and acquaintances or watch the bustling life around you. And if you are a child, you might be the luckiest of all, because you have before you a whole nonlinear world without boundaries for imagination: conquer mountains, search for treasures, hide from aliens—come up with any games.
When our friends and regular partners from “YugStroyInvest,” with whom we had already realized five projects (before Rostov-on-Don, we built a large Stavropol project together spanning 7,000 square meters), had a new project for the development of the area, they turned to XSA once again. Their team had repeatedly been convinced that we are the best at what we do and could be trusted with another grandiose project.
Over the years of working on large-scale projects, experience and understanding of how to approach complex and seemingly unsolvable issues have come. A whole range of unique ideas was born. Thanks to this, we can build communication with customers and partners at a completely different level, ensuring that all parties work harmoniously towards a common goal, confident in the ultimate success. For our team, this experience provides confidence that we can navigate any tricky situation and handle the project from start to finish. Such a skill is invaluable!
